After owning a 2011 RTV900 I've decided to purchase the new RTV-X1100C. I was searching for owner reviews and came across another website that has a thread in which a few owners are having an issue with a loud "clunking" noise from all four wheels. I have 2018 RTV X900 that we recently rebuild the steering cylinder in due to it hitting a stump while the wheels were turned going about 20 mph. It separated the piston from the shaft and shattered the keeper ring. The actual model is RTV X1100C. Are the schematics you gave me links to for the X1100C. The latch on the inside will raise; however, it does not release the door. You have to roll the window down and reach outside and use the exterior handle. On occasion the inside will work.Although the RTV1100 is not any faster than the RTV900, it does have quite a bit more grunt power. After installing the Bighorns on it, I took it to a really steep hill that the RTV900 could never climb. You can't get any run at the hill and it is extremely steep. I think they are a very durable machine, the a/c is dependable. You already know the biggest shortcomings. If they aren’t dealbreakers, you should enjoy an RTV-X1100C.
